Busy week, relaxing weekend

Haven't been very faithful with the blog, have I? Been busy mostly with my classes and all Molly's activities - soccer, choir, violin, HOMEWORK (5th grade gets serious!) Jeff's schedule has been a lot different this year too, now that he's ABD and not teaching. And we really share the car now. Not the "sharing" where Tiff mostly gets it and Jeff has it once in awhile, no big deal like it's been. More like, we sit down on Sunday night and make a schedule of who gets the car when, who is picking up or dropping off which child, etc. And the other person rides the bus or bikes. Which means I've been riding the bus and biking way more. It's good for me, really. And thankfully, we live in a great community where you CAN bike or bus just about everywhere.
This weekend we got to kick back and relax with the Dresslers! We mostly just hung out and the kids played super well together. (For them this was fabulous because they could do things like make huge messes on the porch with bubbles and moonsand and chalk and as long as they were nice to each other, we pretty much let them be!) Here are a few pictures from a local tourist trap that features lots of fall activities.
The girls on the seesaw. Not many of these around anymore. Though note how new and ultrasafe this one looks compared with the ones we used to ride...
Donuts and cider, a must-have snack when you come here. This place makes their own cider.

Ashton is such a cutie. After Jeff proved himself a worthy wrestling opponent, they were good buds.
