Snoeshoeing in the Adirondacks

Isn't she cute? She did well for awhile, but she pooped out halfway through and her Daddy had to take her back. It's tough snowshoeing with little legs up a mountain after a full day of activity the day before!

We gave the backpack with snacks and water to Jeff and Anna. You get thirsty climbing a mountain. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. It was fresh and clean snow - we were breaking the path - no one had been up there for awhile and the snow was new.
About a quarter mile from the top we thought we had stumbled into Narnia. It was beautiful - thick with snowy pines.
The summit. That was no small task and Molly was impressive. The view at the top was amazing.

Kristy and Mike will probably post more pictures on Facebook. We had a great weekend. Don't you want to be a winter guest in Syracuse too?
