AJ Uh-ever!

I had to document a heart-melting moment of cuteness of our three year old nephew AJ.  He is too adorable, and says so many hilarious things.  He invents new words (such as "littercat" instead of "litterbug."Note that he is afraid of cats. And Biscuit.).

Today we were at a children's garden, and I was taking my turn keeping tabs on the little guy. He wanted to hang out by a fish pond and proceeded to ask me tons of questions about the fish.

"Why are they in there, Tiff?"
"Well, that's where they live.  Fish live in water."
"How do they get out of there?"
"They don't want to get out of there. They like it in there."
"Why? Why, Tiff? Why don't they want to get out of there?"
"Fish can only breathe in the water.  They can't breathe when they get out, so they don't want to get out."

And so on.

There were pint-sized rockers on the platform, and he was in one, inching closer and closer until the rocker could not possibly get closer without being in the pond. At which point I said, "Um - that's close enough buddy."

"Ok.  How 'bout you sit in that other yittle rocker, Tiff?
"But my bottom might get stuck in that little rocker, AJ.  What would happen if I got stuck in that little rocker?"
Big grin.  "Then you could stay here UH-EVER!"

Of course, earlier in the day while rough-housing in the pool during family dunkfest he pointed his "yittle" finger at me and with a devilish grin said to Jeff, "Dunk Tiff." Jeff was happy to oblige.
