Happy Birthday Daddy!

Anna was waiting outside the door of the bathroom for Jeff to get out of the shower so she could wish him a happy birthday. All day he got showered with affection from her. He asked if he could pretend it was his birthday every day so she would be so nice to him. "But it's NOT your birthday everday!"
She picked out a big card that played the Chicken Dance music when opened. She's been eyeing cards for months, dying for an excuse to buy one of the big musical ones. (Her first choice for Jeff was the High School Musical card). This was by far the most exciting part of Dad's birthday. She almost gave it away several times. (Thankfully, giggles make speech largely indistinguishable.) It far eclipsed the present and even the big cookie. Hiding under the table when Dad came home and yelling "Surprise" was fun too. Even though we had no surprise party.
So here is a picture of the girls and Dad with the traditional big birthday cookie for Dad. Also, the gang with the Chicken Dance Card. Which had to be put up and out of Annie's reach by the end of the night.
