But look who came along for the day trip at the last minute - a few extra Rozelle girls. The kids were having a hard time saying good-bye, the weather was beautiful, and my sister promised it would be better if we came because her kids wouldn't fight. And my kids would have been barely tolerable knowing they could have been running around Niagara Falls with their cousins instead of stuck at home while Mom cleaned and did laundry. At the last second, I said we could go.
Anna has now seen Niagara Falls. Now she too can say she has taken a Maid of the Mist boat ride under the falls.
Do you think these 2 hip teens can make this new look catch on? (I can't believe they let me take this!)
Under the American Falls. Brayden's whole goal was to get wet. He saw some 20-something guys sans blue raingear laughing and soaked and was inspired. His mother was not.
Ok, this is what they really wore:)
Me and my Molly in front of the Canadian Falls.
I guess that's why we need artists. We need to look through their eyes and see what they see sometimes. The beauty in things that we didn't see the first time. Great shot, Moll.
At the end of the day, it was still hard to say good-bye anyway.
