Favorite Holiday Moments

It is so nice to be home.  That being said, we had some great times with our families.  Here are some of my favorites:

-impromptu dinner out with my sister Kelly and her family.  Afterward Brayden commented to his mom, "I have a headache.  Anna talks a lot."
-playing Scrabble with my mom and Jeff
-playing Catch Phrase with my whole family, all the kids included.  Loved when Brayden saved the boys team, and watching what a cool cucumber Moll is under pressure.
-running with my sister Kristy, even though it was pouring down rain
-Festivites at the Hollanders.  Plenty of yummy food (as always) and fun company. Thought it was so cute when Anna threw her grateful self into my aunt's arms when she opened her Tinkerbell movie.
-at church when a girl with cerebral palsy got up and spoke about what a gift her disability is to her, and how we all have a gift to share that comes out of a broken part of ourselves
-chatting with my mother-in-law while enjoying the "special" eggnog she bought for the two of us
-watching video of the Rozelles circa 1988 with Jeff's family.  Funniest moment: Jeff's high-pitched, cracking voice debuting with, "Well, HI, Santa!"
-spending time with old friends with that feeling of being able to be so comfortable with them no matter how much time has passed

And just a couple candid shots:
The kids, older two as well, enjoyed their presents so much - it was fun to watch them get excited.
The way it often looks at family gatherings.  Usually a few dogs thrown in there too.  And food.
