Spring Blooms

We had time to go to the National Arboretum after Great Falls.  Spring is such a pretty time to go there.
The azaleas, though not at peak, were blooming, as well as a few crabapple trees
And this kind of cherry tree (not the Japanese cherry trees around the Tidal Basin).
Look - they match Molly's shoe laces!
I should point out that all of these pictures from this trip were taken with the Traylor's camera - and mostly by them.  I happened to take this one.
The dogwoods were at peak, and we played a game of frisbee in the grove.
Curly-q dogwoods.  I'm pretty sure that's not their official name.  I was drinking in all this color, as none of the trees in Syracuse are anywhere near blooming yet.
