We went to Mars Hill to church today to hear Brian MacLaren speak - Jeff's request. What an amazing place. Great message too. Anyway, we made a day of it - went to a zoo in Grand Rapids then to Saugatuck. Here are some pictures to convince you that you might want to visit Saugatuck. You might want to visit Mars Hill too, but I have no convincing pictures.
A riverfront cafe in downtown Saugatuck right on the water. It was called the Mermaid (much to Anna's delight). Fun to watch the boats go by.
Saugatuck State Park. Good waves today and nice water temp.
The beach is so pretty in the evening.

Pictures of just Jeff and I are a rarity. Someday when we are dead and famous (well, at least Jeff, famous) this might fetch you some cash:)

Looks like a beautiful day! It makes us long for a visit to MI, even though we love it here and have plenty of fun things to occupy us.
