UP camping trip

We spent a long weekend in the UP camping with our friends Jamie and Glenn. Had a beautiful spot overlooking the Tahquamenon River. Great weather except for the downpour Saturday morning that drove us to a teeny little breakfast restaurant. Love all that wilderness but folks there is no good coffee to be had in those parts! Our kids and our friends on our Tahquamenon Falls hike at one of the scenic lookouts. 5 mile difficult hike. Kudos to Molly for hiking the whole thing, to Anna for hiking a decent portion, to Jeff for doing the other portion with Anna on his shoulders, and to Jamie for doing the whole thing pregnant!
This is Molly in front of the lower falls. The hike was from the Upper Falls to the Lower Falls.
Anna is in a new phase where she has to pose in crazy ways. Her and Dad in front of the Upper Falls.
Another picture of Jeff and I! Taken at Whitefish Point in front of the light station. Lake Superior had quite a rip tide going that day.
I was debating whether or not to put more scenic pictures in, but opted for more family ones. This is us ready to embark on the Soo Locks tour. It was interesting the first time though the locks, but I'm not sure 2 hours was necessary. It wasn't exactly scenic unless you consider steel mills scenic.
