Best (Volunteer) Job In the World

On lunch break today, I sat in a Subway watching the world go by.

Literally, watching the world go by. People of countless different nationalities, ethnicities, abilities, socioeconomic statuses, and ages went by. In little old Syracuse.

And I smiled, wondering how many of those people's lives were assisted by Interfaith Works Refugee Resettlement Program.

Don't you love it when you get to be part of really, really awesome things?!
