Molly has a friend over today who stayed for dinner. At dinner, the girls were discussing being preemies (this girl was an early twin). The subject inevitably involved a lot of talk about twins and triplets in NICUs.
Anna tends to get very excited when Molly has friends over that Anna really likes. It doesn't take much for her to get super silly. At one point in the conversation Anna burst out,"What if when they opened up the mommy's tummy (she was the product of a C-section, ergo, all babies are) and there were fahdrooplets havin' a party in there!"
"Fahdrooplets?!" Molly squealed with laughter, "What are fahdrooplets?"
"You know, when there's five in there!"
"Oh, quintuplets, honey. Five babies at the same time are called quintuplets." Jeff and I were trying awfully hard not to laugh like the two middle schoolers.
Anna was not much phased, and tried to continue her crazy "what ifs" in the same vein. Which we promptly squelched. Five year olds and C-section jokes aren't really a good combo.
